Hydrology: Current Research (ISSN: 2157-7587) is scheduled to celebrate its 10th anniversary in the year 2020. The journal has successfully released several issues of peer-reviewed articles collated from wide geographic locations across the world since its inception in the year 2010, in addition to several special issues and International conference proceedings.

To commemorate the decade long publications services, the editorial team of the journal is planning to compile an edited special issue focusing on tending research activities in Hydrology. The theme/title of the upcoming special issue is Hydrology and Sediment Dynamics: Concepts, Measuring and Modelling which is scheduled to be released by January 2020.

The main focus of the special issues, under the stewardship of Dr. Daniele Goi, will be to collate significant developments and provide deeper insights into the following specific research areas which include but not limited to Environmental hydrology, Forest hydrology, Hydrogeology research, Physical hydrology, Top model hydrology, Snow hydrology, River hydrology, Water conservation, Vadose zone hydrology, and Urban hydrology. The Journal lays special emphasis on novel approaches for hydrological cycle, physics, chemistry of water, and water resources across different demographics and geographies.

The journal offers this unique opportunity of greater flexibility to the contributors to published different types of science communications including original research, case reports, systematic reviews, commentaries and expert opinions on diverse aspects of contemporary hydrology research and explorations while addressing emerging challenges. On this occasion, the journal extends invitation to all academicians, scientist and industrial personnel associated with hydrology research to take part in the celebrations and share their research and exploration outcomes. The Journal Hydrology: Current Research offers special discounts up to 50% on the article processing charges on the occasion of stepping into 10th year in publication and encourages the contributors across the globe to make the best use of the opportunity.

Currently, the journal with vast array of archived articles, is listed in the International abstracting and indexation databases including CAS Source Index (CASSI), Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Sherpa Romeo, Open J Gate, Genamics JournalSeek, JournalTOCs, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, RefSeek, Hamdard University, EBSCO A-Z, OCLC- WorldCat, Proquest Summons, Publons.

With the Research Gate journal impact of 1.95 and Index Copernicus value of 66.26, the journal has demonstrated substantial impact in all the relevant fields of modern hydrology research including different manifestations of hydrological cycle, physics, chemistry of water, and water resources across different demographics and geographies.

The whole scientific fraternity dealing with hydrology is eagerly awaiting the release of these special issues during this year in the Journal Hydrology: Current Research and the issues are expected to garner worldwide interest and create significant momentum for all.
